In a devastating turn of events, a promising 25-year-old Telugu student, Shanagana Hari Kiran Goud, tragically lost his life in the United States. What began as a joyful day out with friends at a scenic waterfall ended in heartbreak when a sudden, powerful current pulled him under. Despite frantic rescue efforts, Hari Kiran could not be saved.
Originally from Chikkala village in Chagallu mandal, East Godavari district, Hari Kiran had journeyed to the U.S. with big dreams. He was pursuing his Master’s degree at the University of Central Missouri and balancing his studies with part-time work, like many students who strive to build a better future abroad.
His sudden and untimely death has left his family shattered. Grieving thousands of miles away, they are now faced with the emotional and financial burden of bringing their son home for his final rites. The process of repatriation is complex, expensive, and requires immediate support.
